Aim:

The financial assistance for setting up the Solar Energy System (Plant) in 7 schools of Hu. Bahirji Smarak Vidyalaya Education Society, Wapti, (Hu.B.S.V.E.S ) located in the backward district of Hingoli, Maharashtra.

Most times during the year, because of educationally and economically backward district Hingoli is experiences at least 14 hours of power-cuts per day, usually during school hours. The proposed support will ensure the school’s productivity is considerably and to teach students about renewable energy importance and possibilities.

Objectives:
  • A vision for quality education to all for creating skilled human resources of high caliber.
  • Emphasis on education for economically and socially backward sections of society.
  • To run computer and multimedia classes in computer lab.
  • To teach our students about sustainable/renewable energy and the importance of reducing carbon emissions.
  • The economic saving from the elimination of the cost of electricity to provide more finical aid to underprivileged students.
  • To access the internet without electricity.
Expected Outcomes

Environmental Sustainability: Solar panels produce clean and renewable energy, reducing schools’ carbon footprint and creating a healthier environment, which helps students understand the importance of sustainable practices and inspires them to embrace renewable energy solutions.

Cost Savings: Schools can significantly reduce electricity bills by harnessing the sun’s energy. Solar panel installations provide a long-term and reliable source of electricity, diminishing the dependence on traditional power sources and mitigating the impact of rising electricity prices.

Educational Opportunities: Solar panels in schools enable practical learning experiences related to renewable energy and sustainability. Students can engage in hands-on activities, experiments, and research, fostering scientific curiosity and environmental awareness. More than 9,783 students are getting education in this institute viz. Hu. Bahirji Smarak Vidyalaya Education Society, Wapti along with 450 human resources from 3 districts of Maharashtra State.
